Anybody know the difference from 415 and 415MS shock towers?
I just know the MS rear tower has one additional hole.
From the pictures it seems to me on the 415MS towers the holes for dampers and body posts are a little lower than on the 415 original towers. Is this true? On certain bodies the original towers are just too high.

Rick,

I thought you were going for rallycross (read that on a uk forum) ? Does that means you'll be racing in the eurocup next year ?

Thank you. I just bought the LW suspension set for spare parts, it had a lot in it.

I will probably order my 415MS in a couple of days. What is the best stuff to get for it? I will mainly run carpet with Sorex 28R, I heard that the LW-arms provided to much grip (horrible tractionrolls as result) on carpet so the original ones is better, true or bs?
The MS look extremely well equipped from start
How is the original bearings? I do already have an Acer racing ceramic set on the way but how does the orginals hold up?

And where can i find any setups for the 415?

I ran my 415MS for the first time today on Primatrack Carpet with Team Orion Fresh Kicks 42Shore Foams.

The car was absolutely awesome!

Kit settings, appart from white tamiya spings at the front, blue at the back, blue anti-roll bars all round, tamiya #500 oil.

The car felt much better than my original 415.

I was running a 19 turn peak dynasty v2 motor.

I am just wondering if I have this straight:
first it was the trf415
then came the trf415 ms
now they have an upgrade for the trf415 ms called the "worlds kit" or something?

but i am wondering, is there a kit that is the trf415ms+worlds kit all into one bundle rather than having to buy a trf415ms then buy a separate worlds kit upgrade???????

tamiya is coming up with too many tricks to grab my money.

There isnt one complete setup that I know of. The MS is competitive enough out of the box IMO.

for the TRF415MS, can someone post the part number for the carbon plate that holds down the spur gear?

Thanks in advance!

Ran my 415 on carpet with foams for the first time today. Yokomo diff up front. Car was just awesome. Made no changes the whole day. Just getting use to the car again. Looks like I'll be taking it to the Snowbirds.

Comment on Rubber tire carpet with old suspension vs. new LW. I remember I kept reading that Marc R prefers the old style on high tracion surfaces like carpet. The LW is more for asphalt. That is my take on what I have read since the LW suspension came out.

It looks as though our spur gear plate will work for the 415 too. I will have one of the local guys try it on his car to make sure it fits. It looks like it will. Here's a photo of it on a Xenon spur.

Thanks!
Ben
