That's true especially if you're running the LW suspension or an EVO4, you'll need all the discount you can get on those susp bits. j/k

actually, i have been putting the E-IV on the track, and have yet to break anything. but.. our track is pretty forgiving. doubt the boards on the average indoor track will be as car-friendly! i actually ordered more stuff for the 415... extra belts, etc. i did order some hopups for the Evo, and some general hardware.

Default TRF415MS Testing

Run the car for the first time this weekend, Saturday and Sunday on a fairly large but technical carpet track. I run Sorex 28R tyres with JB 1-piece blue thin inserts on Orion hard wheels.

The car handled pretty well from the beginning with the setup I started off with. That setup was the standard setup but with Orion 40wt oil and AE blue springs front and silver rear. I did a few changes that improved the car and overall I was really pleased with the car.

I broke no parts at all even though I had a few bad crashes so imo. the lightweight suspension is not fragile at all. The biggest impression of the TRF415MS is the corner speed the car carries, it's really impressive!

Here is the setup that worked best for me (everything not mentioned is same as standard setup):

- front:
shock position: 4 on tower and 1 on arm
oil: Orion 60wt
spring: Associated gold
droop: 6mm on droop gauge (under arm)
ride height: 4.5mm

- rear:
shock position: 5 on tower and 3 on arm
oil: 40wt Orion
spring: Associated silver
droop: 4mm
ride height: 4.7mm

- suspension mounts:
front: A - A
rear: X - D

Orion 12x1 Hara motor
4mm timing
gearing 79/22 (7.85)

Ride Accord Body
Flap high downforce wing

Sorex 28R
JB thin blue insert
Orion hard yellow wheel
