I have the speedtech spool and after one race day the bones already dig into the spool slots...Is it normal? Any ways to prevent this??

I've never had trouble with the Speedtech spool. No wearing at all till I kinda tapped a board. Same with my Speedtech spool for my Yok SD. No wear. Great units. Maybe you have too much binding somewear?

Default setup sheet

Hi,

Anyone out there has a setup sheet for a high speed, with technical in-field, asphalt track? I'm running a 9t motor. Thanks in advance.

Default 415 discontinued for worlds up-date version?????????????

I'm ordering parts for my 415 from my LHS, and he said that" tamiya discontiued the 415 and realated parts because the car at the worlds was different from 415", he also said that was not the pic of the winning 415 because tamiya didn't want to release it's prototype

Do I need the Evol 4 front sway bars for the front LW arms?

NICE, Alloy trans case, alloy arms, alloy arm mounts, alloy castor block, alloy hubs, aluminum drive shaft, aluminum wheel nut, and a Graphite chassis. Either your going to break a wheel or a chassis. I have seen both.

That is the bad thing about running Tamiya. They are always changing or dicontinuing products so it is hard to want to shell out that kind of money for a car that is going to be hard to get stuff for.

Too bad as our shop is huge on Tamiya stuff and deals with them a ton. I have alot of Tamiya stuff but for a top touring car it is just hard to pull the trigger on one.

Yes sometimes that can be true. It isn't too bad for me as our shop is in direct contact with Tamiya but it is hard. I think most can understand where I'm coming from especailly long time Tamiya racers and just Tamiya back yard bashers.
