That's not a typo? Damn, that is expensive. More than 2 grand!!

Congrats on the win, by the way.

I believe that was the price was to scare off anybody wanting to buy one at the show but there were a couple of racers who were semi-serious about picking one up. The 415 is still in prototype phase and there will be a few more iterations before it's available to the public.

No, it's the production car they're selling, it will be released somewhen in january or february and I believe it will be a limited edition, but not as limited as the first TRF 414, maybe like the TB Evo 3 or the TRF 414M2.

Okay, believe what you will...what do I know, except for a buddy who works in Tamiya and has three on his desk for feedback, comments, and iteration.

Anyways, it's going to be a nice car when it gets released.

rtypec was right. It was a prototype that was being sold in the TCS final in Japan. It's not the production one. R10 is going to sell the production one when it is ava. to the public.

rtypec went to Japan to race for the USA at the tamiya final, I think the man know what he is talking about!

And congrats on bring home the 3 place!!!! You da man rtypec!

I haven't seen a prototype running around at the TA circuit yet but hopefully there'll be a more evolved prototype making landfall in a couple of weeks but I'm not sure if it'll make its way to the track.

Here are a couple of photos of a 415 that I checked out in Japan. Note to self...must wear huge baggy cargo pants next time.
