Hi I see you guys like the TRF415 I have raced the TC3 and Pro3 in the past and am thinking of getting a new car when I return from Iraq next year. Are there any big problems with the car and is the battery mounting system (Tape) giving anyone problems. Would like your advice. Thanks Rodney

Using tapes to mount batteries is not only lighter, but also more secure, as long as you prepare your chassis properly (so no sharp edges in the battery tape slot to cut the tape) and replace your tape every 2-3 runs.

I did try my 415 on the saturday with CS22 pre glued tyres and it was spot on, that was with the following setup:

Front,
600wt shock oil,
3 hole pistons,
White springs,
shocks in middle hole on tower and outer on the arm,
4mm of spacers under inner camber link,
1.5 deg of camber,
8 deg of caster,
A block rear,
C block front,
0.5mm of anti dive,
droop set so springs do not unload off spring cups,
0.5 deg of toe out,
No roll bar.

Rear,
600wt oil,
3 hole pistons,
Blue springs,
shock in outer hole on tower and outer on arm,
1.5 deg of camber,
1 deg rear toe blocks, (outer hole on block with 0.7mm spacer)
D block rear,
B block front,
1mm spacers under the rear blocks,
droop set so springs do not unload off spring cups,
no roll bar.

Rick
ok thanks.
this track seems relly low grip but my car just seems unbalanced.

Hi guys, Just to let you know, I'll be joininghte club next week sometime, Speedtech have just got some of the kits back in, and I've got my order confirmed. Can't wait to build it all now, I'm gonna be completely original and take some photos during the build, which I'll post up here when I'm done.

Regards
Ed

Yes its TCS legal in GT1 as long as it has been released in the country you are racing it in per Tamiya. For now the Evo 4 is only legal in the countries you can buy it in....Japan, etc. Not the US yet.
