Hi There -
Just wondering if anyone can offer suggestions...
I was running my 415 with foams, but have now switched to rubber. I changed all the settings on the car to have a rubber setup, except for the shock oil... It has 70 in front and 50 in rear...
So my question is - could the thickness of the shock oil have contributed to the shuddering of the car in the turns? It was doing this weird shuddering thing, but never traction rolled or handled funny on the straights.
So should I go to a thinner oil like 50 and 30? It's a medium grip carpet track...
cheers
Dave

What kind of springs are you using? You have to adjust the oil to match the spring. My guess is that the setup overall is too stiff for rubber.

It was recommended to use Associated Gold and Silver springs - I'm pretty sure the oil was too thick, but I was lazy...
I bought Tamiya white and blue springs - would these better than the using the Associated or stock yellow springs on a carpet track?
Thanks again...
Dave
