Could anyone please tell me if the msx steering arms will fit a stock msxx and if they use the same bearings, as some parts are becoming hard to get from hobbyco for the 415 now, so it seems

The Steering arms of the following cars are all the same:

Evo4/MS, Evo5, 415 MSX,MSXX,MRE.

They al share the Evo4 steering knuckles with the 950 bearings.

416's are night and day against any 415's setup. I would try thard first...

I'm not sure what you mean by front end. The suspension can be switched by simply using the 416 parts, but literally everything is different from the blocks to the axles and driveshafts...

No lipo will fit without cutting the bulkhead. You can get away with minor trimming to fit something small and stick style like a 2400-3200mah. The largest lipo that fits inside is a 3800-4000mah square pack (like the one from Intellect). To fit these brick style lipos, you need to shave a lot of the bulkhead and as well as the center post. Here is how an intellect 3800/35C looks installed:

...and here is a detail of what you must modify:

No lipo tray...

That stick pack conversion won't work on your MSXX. It's meant for the older MSX. Won't even work on the MSX MRE. You would have to convert to the older style steering bridge and loose ackerman adjustment. There was an MSXX stick pack kit (49436), but as far as I know it's been sold out for a long time...
