The set makes the car feel planted on unprepped sealed asphalt. So when I go to the races on the weekends the car has tons of traction with Soda/Water prepped on sealed asphalt. The reason I'm sharing this cause now my 415 and 416WE feels excactly the same!!! I'm just excited and wanted to share
the 0.5mm spacer under both rear suspension mounts ?? or just the rear most one ??

I plan on trying the tray out because I like the 415. This is also my first Tamiya so I don't have any 416 info to share with you. Many have said that the 416 is faster across the board but until someone here beats me with one I don't believe it
I recently modified aluminium rear bulkhead of my 415 msx. I just bought Speed Energy 4000 35C ( I think this battery is same as Intelect Power 3800 35C ).

It wasn't fun..... coz I have to dremel it carefully...... it took me 30 minutes. I don't want to do lousy job, u know .

One thing that disappointed me..... my yokomo BD can accept 5000 30C easy without modification, but my 415 msx cannot.

What do you guys think of 5000Mah 30C versus 4000Mah 35C ? Which one is better for racing ? My home track still adopt 5 minutes qualifying and final. I'm using Novak GTB 3.5R.

I was always told the higher the mah the longer the discharge curve. So I'd stick with the 5000 pack.

I saw your modification...... I think your craftmanship is better than mine. ..... how did you cut so straight ?

Does anyone know where you can buy just the one bulkhead that needs to be milled for lipo? I'd like to have an original spare before milling the one I have.

I think you need to buy MSX upgrade kit ...... the complete upgrade kit shown in my photo attachment above.

IMO, I think you don't have to buy extra bulkhead if you grind off some materials slowly and carefully . Plan ahead how much material you want to remove by marking what area to cut and what area must not be cut.

Because the car is has not been run for some time i dont remember what set up is on it. I run on carpet open track with good flow but i run a diff in the front cuz its all i have. Sorry to ask a silly question......

Recently I just completed a race....... during heat 1 to 3, my car was fish tailing alot, especially in S chicane corner : I can enter the right turn but loose traction completely on the left turn and fish tailing on the exit. ..... So I asked my friends what setup to minimise the fish tailing problem on quick S corner, but their suggestions were not cure my problems at all. One friend mentioned to use brand new tires, but I was stinggy and I keep using paragon.

I finally gave up after driving in Final #1...... and I decided to change rear tires. Luckily I found slightly used tires in my RC bag. So I gave them paragon and use them for rear tires. HALLELUJAH !! Suddenly I can blast off leaving my rivals and finished 1st ?? ..... ( I'm in group B , not A ..... I'm not that good driver ).

So, is there great car setup for old tires, OR, definetely they are not exist in electric racing ?

Sorry friends, I'm nitro guys...... I'm lack of knowledge in rubber tires business. Thank you for sharing ideas .

Default rubber tires

No substitution for fresh rubber. You yourself experienced the difference between the tires. I'm pretty sure there is a set up out there for worn rubber but would you be willing to waste 1 or 2 qualifiers trying it and then chasing the set up if it doesn't work? I can understand the stinggy part cuz I race on a budget, but again no substitution. As they say in NASCAR "come in and get yourself 4 Mr. Feel Goods"

Will taking right side only apply for us as well I couldn't help myself. I had to throw that out there

This Saturday will be my first asphalt rac with the 415. I can't wait. I'll be running at Speedworld (home of the 08 & 09 Reedy Race) I'm torn between running Marc's 07 Reedy set up and Corey's set up. If feel like a girl trying to decide who I'm going to the dance with
