Loose belts generate less friction. Run them as loose as possible without letting them skip. A skipping belt makes a ripping sound...

hello
just wondering if anyone is running the S400 rear diff in their 415msx.
At present i am running one and the internals are 35/18=1.944444,running 4000 w diff oil and a spool seems to work well in mod (MM 4600/7700)

SMC 4000 fit straight in and will last a mod race with about 700ma left in it.hope this helps

The older Orion 3200 fits with virtually no need for modification, I didn't like how tight it was so I removed a bit of material from the rear bulkhead where it has those silly humps. The new Orion 3400 might also fit with just a little work but the Orion 3800 requires quite a bit of material to be removed, I haven't seen any difference in handling since the modification so don't worry about that.

if u find the right battery tray it gets the lipo out from the rear bulkhead nice enough too give you some good clearence

Bart would you be able to tell us the name of a battery tray which works with the 415's ?

Nope, the SMC5000 will not fit the MRE. The scalloped battery cutouts are really low.

Izzy are you going? I am thinking of doing this race as well. Why don't you guys come to BCR? Good racing and nice track! Save me a space for Mazda...lol
