Hey.....Thanks HarshGuy and Charles. I`ve never paid attention to the Private Messages area.

I didn`t know that the MR4-TC BD was a weak kit. I`m a very good R.C. Car Driver(I don`t race much); so crashing isn`t a problem for me. I get angry when someone hits me. I don`t like My Kits/Cars damaged(getting Tamiya parts isn`t easy. No Hobby Shop here in New York City has Tamiya Parts.

Most of the time I set-up a Track in the school yard and just run laps(not too fast laps) to see how it performs. I race My TT-01(I don`t care what happens to that kit).

But; I`ll see if Tower Hobbies has any in stock.

Take Care

They do alot of In-Door and some Out-Door Racing in Long Island(with South Shore Hobbies and Willis Hobbies tracks).
But overall; they`re No Help to Me.....They don`t/won`t order Tamiya stuff.....And they always have a Bad Attitude when I come there.
-The 2 best Hobby Shops in N.Y.C. is Nagengast Hobbies(Fresh Pond Rd - Queens) and Brooklyn Hobbies(Flatlands - Brooklyn). They will order Tamiya Parts for you.
Sorry to hear that..... Good luck with your Race program.

In the UK Demon stock a few parts for the TRF. Not a lot but a few.

Hey Kwikvdub; you`re the 1st person besides Myself to have a Tamiya top-of-the-line Kit. Where are you getting parts from? You must be ordering your parts straight from Tamiya also(paying those Non-Discount Prices.....Ha Ha!).

I think I remember Vito and the other guys saying someone that they know has a TRF 415 MRE.....?

Thanks

Stop by Tony's Hobby Shop in Harrison, NY. He doesn't stock TRF parts, but they can get them quick.

Let me know if you need any help at the local tracks, carpet or asphalt, or if you're just out having fun. I've been running the MRE for a while and like to think I have a decent setup for both surfaces.

And watch out for that Kwikvdub guy...shady.

I'm running a Orion Marc Reinhard 12x1 in my MRE
The track is medium tight and not to long..

Any tips on gearing/roll-out?

Thanks!

Start with a gearing around 8.8 (26/102) and timing set to 24deg. (4th notch)

Hey sohlman; I don`t have a TRF 415 MRE.....yet. I have a TB Evo 5 with every TRF Part on it(parts that fit).

I order My own Tamiya Parts or I have the guys from Nagengast Hobbies(Fresh Pond Rd - Queens) or Brooklyn Hobbies(Flatlands - Brooklyn) order me a few parts.

Thanks

Take Care

That is what I geared those motors with 6 cells on a small carpet track.
With 5 cells it should not be a problem, you might even gear up a tooth....
