The differing part number might be the short LWS arms... they are around 1-1.5mm shorter than the std LWS... and seem to be good for carpet work.

Was curious what LWS meant...found it tho.Starting to understand "tamiya speak",in terms of parts and options. Mario.

maxepower: I was lived in L.A. and run my TC3 at so cal raceway. I get into A main almost everytime. But this time I get into trouble. I already using the thickest sway bar on the rear to genereate more front traction. Lee drop on front, ok I will try to decrease drop on front. I didn't really measure how much drop I have. But i think I am using not much. Anyway, will try less drop. thanks

Max-- thanks for the loan of the Li-po charger @ the 24hr Enduro. I returned the favor and sent some stuff down to Chris for the Tamiya event.

Iox-sounds like you are working in the right direction. Max's suggestion works well I would try moving the front suspension link also. I think somewhere in there without seeing your full setup you are losing mechanical grip. that is causing the imbalance.

Hey,
Anytime my friend. So how did the 24 hour Enduro turn out? Did you
break the record? So what was the tire and insert of choice. What tires lasted the longest and for how long did they last. Sorry if there was a thread on all this but I never saw one!
Any info would be great being that our Enduro is tomorrow!
Thanks!
Max

Under the regional forums, northwest racers. there is a thread.

WE ran the Speedmind, premount Sorex 36R
the tires had plenty of life left when we took them off the car, the issue was that the tire was seperating from the wheel after about 1.5 hours.
The record was set. There was no previous record.
What other info are you looking for??
We ran a Novak Brushless 8.5 in a TA05.
What chassis will you be running.

Does the 'short' LWR suspension arms work on the MRE? If so, how will the handling be affected?

Shorter arms will make the car more reactive overall.

I thought there was a previous record set for 24 hours in the Ginneasse book for an RC car. So many miles did you all turn in 24!
I'll look for the thread when I get a chance!

If I remembwr correct it was 340mi or something like that. I had way too much time on the drivers stand.....

I know it is another chassis but the TA05 held up wonderfully. We lost 2 rear belts only because we did not have quite enogh belt tension 3 clicks minimum with the brushless. We also lost 1 shock tower all in 24hrs......

Good luck today sorry for the tardy reply. I was out of the office all day yesterday.
