Wasn't planning on it, but I can bring her by @ lunch (my office is only 5 minutes from SWR). LMK for sure if you are going later in the week.

Indoor carpet racing is quickly approaching us here in the North East. Has anyone ever tried using TA-04 diff gears in their MSX? The TA-04 gears are 32T, since we mostly race 27T stock, I figured the lower drive ratio of 2.0 would be better?

I have not yet tried it to see if the belts can be adjusted to the proper tension. I figured I'd ask first.

What is the change to the internal ratio if I'm using TA-05 pulleys for the diffs. I heard it was 2.5 but that seems high when the pulley is only one tooth higher.

TA-05 pulleys...the white ones 36T = 2.25

stock 415 pulleys 35T...black = 2.1875

Harsh for the kind of grip you'll have at the IIC I'd stick with the one way, spools are used in the UK sometimes because we do'nt really have many places with that much grip, most carpet places are medium grip over here and a spool does help.

Martin used the standard arms, NOT from the MSX (nor MRX that'd be quite weird, lol). However if I were you i'd try the MRE with the short LW arms and see how it goes, I believe this could be a better combination than what the MSX was on carpet (a.k.a. crap).

You going then i take it?
I know what you're saying, i'm struggling to get all the week ends i want off to do nationals. was supposed to go to the KO but couldn't get the monday off (so i worked today aswell...). Hopefully I'll get the job I'm applying for now (which might mean no more toy car racing for me, but big ones, muhuhuhuhahahaaha).

I have to go and defend my 6th place otherwise Rob might nick it off me with his RDX and that'd be a shame

Lol, should be a good weekend. Hopefully go up during the week (school holidays ) to get some track time and go up on saturday (local outdoor track). Shouldn't be to hard to find/spot me, white front/flames/carbon at the back and usually plastered with stickers (TeamScream, eXpress, Flap, Muchmore, hybrid....the usual)

If you're not a club member don't go there in the week as it's closed to non members.
