For the arms it quickens response but also slows roll a touch. I run a touch wider blocks now with the short arms. My TA05 is fully converted with short arms, the MSX is 1/2 converted as I was looking for better Spool turn-in and got it with the short front arm and long rear arm.

Does anyone know the part number for the cooler scoop thingee? I looked through the addendum and I don't see it (or I missed it) ....I'm also going to have to countersink the screw hole for it as it didn't come countersunk. I'm talking about this:

checked out Harsh's MRE today - what a piece of art! looks almost too sweet to put on the ground. I'm really diggin the gold colored axles and the "sleeves" that go over the delrin outdrives on the front spool. Are the pulley's the same as the TA05?

Might have to be a shelf queen for me!!!

Anybody know where I can find a setup for an original 415 on carpet, with foams and rubber tires.

Thanks,

A couple questions. Has Tamiya released a front ball diff or do you still have to use the Yokomo parts to make one?

Second, does anyone know if IB3800s and/or IB4200s will fit in the original 415 3mm chassis?

Thanks,

Look back a page or two, i replied to another question to do with the front diff.

I don't see why IB38s and IB42s wouldn't fit the std 3mm chassis, just bevel/file the edges at an angle to allow the cells to sit lower in the chassis.
