Default Traveling with Lipos

One of our racers is planning to fly to a race and checked with the airline to find the following info.

I checked the Canadian Transport Security Authority site and it states:

Lithium ion batteries with an aggregate equivalent lithium content of more than 8 grams but not more than 25 grams may be carried in carry-on baggage if they are individually protected so as to prevent short circuits and are limited to two spare batteries per person.

Do we know how many grams of lithium our batteries have?

Does this effect what you put in your stored luggage?

Will the Lipo makers start to put the amount of Lithium in each cell on the label?

As we are all aware that the Airport authority, given a unknown, will in most cases rule for disposal, rather than accept your word.

I'm sure the US Transport will have similar rules as well.

All packs used in RC cars have 8 grams or less. We can't sell Lipos with more as they would require Class 9 Hazordous shipping which would make the shipping cost be very high.
