It's for carpet racing, mainly. But with some modifications it can be raced on asphalt. The chassis is thicker than most carben fiber chassis, so it dosen't flex much, but if you'er racing on carpet, that won't matter. With a little more modification, you can fit a LiPo.
The one thing I like about this chassis is that you can fit tall gears in it. But the motor mount is hard to get at. vary awkward trying to get to the mount screws. Infact a lot of areas are hard to get at. A lot of unscrewing and dismantling just to get to the diffs.
It's ok as a chassis, but I prefer the accessibility and safty of the tub chassis to keep in all my wires and electronics.

well i saw a conversion from diggity designs for the tc3/tc4 cars .its a really better design for carpet and it looks cool too check it out on their website .
diggitydesigns.com i got a 1/12 conversion for my 12l3 and it handles better than a stock 12l3 .

i am racing on carpet so that would deff be a plus. and they're the same price... so far i think i like the diggity. looks pretty bomb. does it function ne better than 3 racing or just better accessibility? my last 3 racing chassis for my rc18 didn't seem to fit well but the tc4 looked better.
