Default TA-04 PRO Blue Collection (Limited Edition)

Tamiya has just released in Japan a limited edition TA-04 PRO with 10 aluminium / metal hop up parts that have been anodized blue. In the write up on the Tamiya.com website, some of the hop-ups list are TFT dampers, steering arm and vented motor mount. Does anyone know what the other metal hop up parts are?

Cheers.

Personally, I don't actually like the EVO or EVO II. Too much naked carbon fibre - prone to scratches which only makes your heart bleed.

You can always put a chassis protector on it.. why are those things so expensive anyway? $11 US for basically a thick plastic sticker.

True, but as you point out, the plastic protectors are pretty expensive. I guess it is each to their own, but my preference is the plastic graphite reinforced chassis which you get with the TA-O4R, the TC3, the TL-XXX and the Yok Special. They are all very rigid and yet provide for greater durability in the long run. Scratches are less prominent too.

I have a set of the new blue shocks. What does the red urethane bushing do that sits between the cap and bladder? Another quirky Tamiya part . . .

Coolrcdad:

Its to take up some of the gap in the bladder. Makes the shock a little stiffer. Before they came out with that piece. People were just using 2 orings in the bladder
