I've been to Extreme once and I'm going back. When I was there I saw that there were only two 1/12 cars there (i believe it was Tim and Chris) and I said to myself right then and there that I want one. I figure I can run my Micro RS4 and 1/12 scale and be happy. Tim I was the guy who came over and checked out your 1/12 and 1/10 cars and I thought your 1/10 was a Hot Bodies Cyclone. I've known Chris since he had Champion in Lyndhurst and I bought the majority of my cars there but I had lost touch because I moved down the shore. But once I heard that he took over US Hobbies, turned it into Extreme and built a track I have no problem driving up to Moonachie to race. Now if I can just get my wife to ok another car I'm in. Or I'll just sneak it in like I did w/ most of my others. I'm thinking of selling my 1/10 Hot Bodies Cyclone to get a 1/12. Since I aleready have have a 27T and esc. See you guys on Friday.

And try to get there early to get a good pit spot. They fill up fast. The turnout has been getting bigger and bigger every week.

Yup. You could do that to get the car running. You'd still need a couple of 4-cell packs though.

As for the pit spaces, hopefully Chris can find the time to make the shelving that he mentioned, then space won't be an issue. Believe it or not, I bring less stuff to Xtreme than an average racer would bring to a track. I don't even bring a tweak board, set up station, etc etc

You also have to remember that most of the people there are only racing an 18R, and not a 1/12 scale and touring car like I'm racing. It takes a lot more equipment and space to work on those cars than it does to work on an 18R. There are at least 2 or 3 other people there who are using the same amount of space as me, yet don't have as much stuff.
