This thread is only entertaining because the powers that be allowed it to become this way. Racers arent being thought of REGARDLESS of what been posted. Let's keep it all fair...cool....just state it from the begining and save yourself some grief. It should be a racers choice to enter an event if these are to be the rules. I'd love to post the emails/text messages I have received over the last month or so....and yes even from factory drivers. I'll have fun knowing that I didn't have to spend money on a hotel or airfare for this race

I miss Barry. No matter what the cost he always spoke his mind. Gotta respect that.

......we now return you to your regularly scheduled program

I spent money on airfair and hotel, and i have absolutely no problem with the lack of info, IMO the hand tire SHOULD be kept secret for as long as possible to help keep the racing equal, otherwise, you have those guys that buy 20 sets, figure out the magic traction compound/tire warmer combo spend hours and hours of testing and setups and arrive at the track with a "dailed" setup. THATS when i start wishing i didn't spend the money on airfare and a hotel.

ONCE AGAIN, JUST MY OPINION

I see people bringing up the "tire" but that is not what I would like to know. I would like to know the answers to the following:

5 min or 6 min?
Light weight bodies or no?
1500 or 1525?

Just trying to get things ready.

Yea, those things would be really nice to know. Just general baseline rules.

Don't you have a homie in the "White" House? Ask him to kick you some brotherhood cred and give you the answer to that one....
