Hello everyone,

Things are all set for another great RROC and the great SpeedWorld.

I would like to thank everyone for their patience on waiting for the tires to be announced.

We will be using Jaco Blue compound tires for the RROC. These are tires that will work great. Everyone can obtain them from your local shop or of course SpeedWorld. They have been tested at SpeedWorld and work great and they have also been used last year at SW for the KO Grand Prix.

Tires will be sold at the RROC for $30 tax included.

Rick had posted some of the rules for me but I want to list them again.

Weight = 1500gr
Race Length = 5min
Lightweight bodies are ok.
Roar Legal motors.

RCGT.
ALL QUALIFIERS WILL BE RUN HEADS UP RACES REEDY RACE STYLE.

I just spoke with the manager of the Orchid Suites hotel our host hotel and most of our room block is filling up. If you have not reserved a room, you need to do it right away.

We still have room in all classes for the RROC and I will have the current entry list up later today.

T shirt deadline to receive a shirt with your entry is 1 week away. I need to get the sizes to the printer.

Rick is finalizing the Invitational list and waiting for the final confirmations and then he will post that up.

Look forward to seeing everyone in a month for another spectacular RROC at the world famous SpeedWorld Raceway.

Thanks
Scotty

Thanks Scotty!

I look forward to this race every year. Speedworld is an awesome facility and watching the best in the world duke it out heads up with Scotty announcing doesnít get any better. It is like watching 32 A mains and 1 position can mean the difference between a W and failure.

Iím just hoping that these guys donít step all over my boy Kevin Jelich. Itís going to be interesting to see how he stacks up against these guys. Also, Scott Kimbrow will be running our new car in open mod. He has never driven an electric sedan until last weekend. He took my car for a few laps and instantly was going as fast as I was in 1 pack!

Weather will be nice and I think everyone will all have a good time.

I'm not sure what "flogging" is, but I refuse to partake in it whatsoever.

What a great weekend of racing. The weather held up good, there were several close battles. Thank you to all who attended.

I wanted to thank some of the people who contribute their time with no payÖ.remember, we are a club and nobody is paid. We do this for the hobby we love and like to share the experience with others who have the same passion.

Jarrod K., Ron (the mammoth) Woolery, Pete Waydo, Mike Evans and Martin Hobbs who keeps us all in check.

Special thanks to Billy Bowerman for coming down and supporting our club and race.

Congratulations to the follow winners.
Sean Williams Open Mod.
Duy Khuong 13.5
Brandon Koslosky RCGT

The only thing I have to complain about is, after everybody left the track, I walked around to clean up a bit. I picked up 118 cigarette butts in one area of the pits. This is not acceptable. Please in the future, use the trash cans, there are plenty of them all around the track.

Race Results are attached.

Click the link to see photoís of the weekend. http://s111.photobucket.com/albums/n...m%20up%202009/

I am excited to get up to Speedworld and hang out with Billy and all you guys again in May at the 2009 Reedy Race of Champions. Race well and see you soon.

Thanks
Steve
