Personally i would go for the LRP system, Excellent customer service, not that you will have problems. i Have ran LRP /Nosram brushless systems for a while now and never had a problem, not even when running 2.5* Brushless

http://teamnovak.com

they have remanufactured XBR for 80 bucks. They also have the 13.5 with the free upgrade kit for 40 bucks. It makes the 13.5 an even better motor.

I own that combo and it's great at that price.

Well so far one person told me LRP and one person has told me Novak. Any other opinions. I am shooting more towards the LRP!

Those are both good systems. I have similar LRP system and it works perfectly, except for the ESCs AI sometimes confusing forward and reverse when I replace the battery .

i'd stick with the LRPs personally...
reliability, performance.. these add to me when comparing systems

novak seems to lack a bit of punch if you ask me..

but then again, have experienced the swapping forward/reverse issue when changing batteries on the AI speedies too..

dont be put off by the reversing issue, its very rare in my experience..
you wont regret the LRP

Well with the Novak kit at least you get a motor that can easily be turned into a Novak SS motor with the swap of the rotor, while the LRP motor is a cheaper made motor than their X-11 Stock Spec motor.

As for the ESC's in each kit, both will prob deliver close to equal performance, BUT customer support/service will be the biggest difference between LRP and Novak. Novak usually has excellent customer service compared to LRP.

Out of these 2 go with the Novak. The problem with the LRP is that you can't turn off reverse with their A.I. line; and if you race, reverse is prohibited. Personally I would go with this combo.

http://www.teamnovak.com/products/br...pec/index.html

You can get the 13.5 combo for $150 and it's already the upgraded motor.

Tekin's combo's in that price range are for 'sensorless' systems. He stated that he wanted to use this to race. All the Tekin combo's in that range also are lower Turn motors, not race legal.

Cody did you even make a lap with the 19T before deciding to go brushless?? Are you giving up on the T1 too?? Havoc ftw...that's a lot of goodies for 150 bones!

This is what you want:

CREATE HAVOC AT THE TRACK

These systems feature our ROAR-approved Spec motors, with sintered racing rotors..
