Either the new KO or the orion. The LRP speedos are not too shabby either.

+1, esp considering the small space for a speedo in the ta05. The KO/Orion and LRP is too big to fit in the plastic tub chassis if you are running that.

What about mounting the esc on the servo,or would that throw the handling off?

A better idea would to mount the receiver on the servo, or on the righ side of the chassis if you run 5 cell.

yeah receiver on top of servo if you must. Might give more steering and lose some rear traction with that change. Should be minimal and other setup changes could counter that. If you ran a low-profile servo, small receiver and RS you might be able to fit it all on the chassis between the servo and motor. Not sure. It would be a very tight fit.

What about the esc on the servo? Because I still might get an esc that will be too big to fit where it goes on the TA05 chassis.

I wouldn't do it. Its a lot of weight (with the wires and everything) up high.

LRP SPX. $205 at tower, then use the $35 coupon.

Where is there a $35 coupon?

I like my GTB and never had any problems with it. A lot of people like the SpeedPassion esc. As mentioned before the LRP and Tekin esc's are good choices as well.

What kind of motor are you going to be using?
