The Corally PHI is a great car. This new one looks promising, but the price increase is definitely not warranted in my opinion.

I don't know where you heard about a price hike with the PHI 2, its not available yet, so there is no price on it. I think it will be inline with other brands. Also don't forget the price of the PHI and the RDX before it was kept pretty low considering the increase in production costs due to market changes.

I never said i knew the price of the 09 Phi. I was simply saying that id be expecting the price of the kit to be lower due to the less duraluminum used in the kit. Im not saying anything bad about the car or anything, simply implying it should cost less. How ever im looking forward to trying a few of the new parts on the phi ..

I will bet my chips on the Photon. It is projected to be the same price as the AE TC5 and have a lot of option parts come standard.

The Phi 09 price will be cheaper than the actual Phi. Even cheaper than the Photon!! The Corally Car may hit the $350 or € 320 and the Photon could reach the $450 or €400. With the store prices I have for both, this is my guess.

I think it could go either way. The Photon while it may be cheaper it hasn't been proven yet. And if you say"Well Josh wins with it" I would say that he could probably win with a Tamiya Frog. I want to see it in the hands of the average club racer to see how it fairs. The only way I would switch from a Corally is if it made me faster. If I seen a local guy go from a TC5 to a Photon and go faster or any other car for that matter then I would buy it. Just not enough people own T.O.P.P cars for me to buy one. And if the Photon becomes next great car after it has been out for a while then I might think about it.

Touche!

The Phi 2 definitely looks like a great car indeed. This is going to make for an awesome winter this year!

Chris08527,

In the USA the best answer to your question should be given by CorallyUSA - Specialized RC. In Europe the first units should arrive at the distributors and shops by 1st of May or the next week.
