The hobby shop is listed as closing at 9pm on Friday, but you may want to call down there to see what his exact plans are for Friday 1-847-246-1762

The length of the day on Sunday will depend on the number of racers. There will be 3-4 rounds of racing, plus the 20 car race and awards.

For example, 4 rounds of racing, with 5 minute heats, 2 minutes in between heats, 20 minutes for the 20 car race and race setup, and 1/2 hour for awards is about 5.5 hours. If we can get the racing started by about 9 am, we would be getting done before 3pm. That is not official in any way, but I think that we can safely say we should be done by late afternoon.

Also, Mitchell Airport (MKE) is slightly closer than O Hare, so you have 2 options for flying. Both are close to an hour to drive to.

Still a while off yet but trying to plan a body/paint scheme. Will we each be given a number once we get there like last year? Just wondering if I should go to the trouble of putting numbers on the car.

Paul-

Yes, each car will have it's own number sheet. The design, by a local VTA racer, has been finalized and ordered.

One of the things I like about the Snowbirds is that they have a list of racers entered/pre-registered for their event. They also include where the racer is from. Any chance of having something similar posted here?

Indy.....is this Brian? I dont think there is a way to get that on the RC sign-ups web site but if you click on each driver there is a driver profile and everyone has their home town listed so you can get an idea from that. I will see if something else can be done so we can get an idea where everyone is from.....

Man..I wish I could make this race...

If you can hold it in March Next year, I'd have a much better chance of making it - april has a "no vaction" policy at work

Team competition question...

It originally looked like we might be able to have enough people make the trip from the Omaha area for a team. Now because of conflicts it doesn't look like we will have enough. Can a couple tracks that are short get together for a team? Or does that somehow diminish what you are trying to do with the team competition?

Rob...don't worry about what Marty said, Karate without some flying head and blood spreading is not really karate....like wise, Trans-Am racing without some broken cars and lipo explodion is not really the Trans-Am racing...

BEHOLD THE TITLE...............
