I understan you use TA04 front and rear arms. How do you set the droop with these arms? internal limiters?
I ran with 04 rear arms and I have no droop control whatsoever. I don't have any problems so far but I'm only a novice

Hi Rough,
I have seen someone with the Ta04 Arms conversion and what they did was turn the arms around and drill new 2.5mm droop holes in the arms with a drill press.

iam trf racer but with a differenht user name.
rough 512 i use 04 rear wishbones and 2 degree toe in hubs and 04 front hubs and c hubs but standard evo 2 lower arms.
if u use the full 04 wishbones it lengthens the wheelbase to much as iam racing indoors on a very small track.

okay..
I've noticed that I seem to break one hub carrier and strip a knuckle arm every outing... is it possible to replace these two parts with those from other brands?
I hear the losi knuckles are being used to replace tc3 knuckles. just wondering whether this can be done to the TB evo1 or 2 also...
I'm thinking of using the 04/414 racing hub carrier but if there are other tougher parts out there, please post them here...
thanks

rough512 use the hardened 414 carriers.they are carbon reinforced and will be much better.they will go on the evo 1 and 2.

dude! so thats what you look like....woah... How do you guys manage to get your hair like that? Lots of kids at my school have that hair dew... boggles the mind...
Hey, how's that scoobie body handle compared to the stratus 2.0?
Its the HPI version right?
wow rough512, how in the world do you manage to do that every race.... in the 4months I had my evo2, I only managed to break the original front C hub ...but that was cuz I lent it to someone and he ran into a corner 90 pipe with the front wheel and body off. Try the TA04 racing carrier set. It handles better.

My EVO2 is undergoing repairs
I've replaced the front hub carrier with with the ta04 racing hub carrier. I also put back the original rear arms, I previously used rear 04 arms but I don't like losing my droop setting options.
Next thing I'll try is to put in some pivot ball suspension arms and uprights on the rear. I got to see an XRAY upclose and I like the near-no-slop feel of the pivot ball suspension. I wish I could do that to the front.

The scoobie needs more rear down force...the stock wing just wouldn't cut it. I am debuting a new Altima body next weekend and I'm gonna race that car in modified. I'm sick of .4 pitch gears (they're too soft) so I'm gonna switch back to the .6 spurs either my fave combination 25/61 (it's a big track) or 23/58. E2 is so much pain in the behind to tear apart that I'm ready to shelf it as soon as I get more $$$ to get the E3.
For the time being, I'm gonna tear my front gearbox apart and install a gear diff instead. It's either the combination of that I set the brake potentio too high (full force to be exact) or losing grip because of the one way...the car is just too nervous for the whole race.
