Can someone please let me know if when you use the TA04 rear uprights and lower arms on the TB Evo II do you need to change anything else to do the conversion?? Does the track with remain the same??

No further changes needed, however, you might want to check that the hex hubs are of the same thickness. In my case, the hex hub from the TRF414 (a-arm/upright donor) were thicker so I initially had unequal track width.
I don't know the legal wheel base, but the conversion resulted to a longer distance from front wheels to rear wheels. I'd say about 4mm ~ 5mm.

Thanks for the Info. Looks like the extra few mm could throw out the way my wheels sit in the wheel arches. Means I will have to slot the holes a bit..Ouch!!.
In your opinion do you think that the conversion made a lot of difference to the efficiency of the rear drive??
I am thinking that I might just buy the TB Evo II suspension setting kit which gives you a few other toe in adjustments etc which is really what I am after. I want about 2 degrees of toe in.
I have also heard that some people use the TA04 Front Caster Blocks..Have you heard of this one??

Can't really judge how much efficiency I gained. I'm just contented seeing how the universal shaft does not slide up and down the outdrive slot (when the wheel turns) anymore. I did have to cut some more material from the wheel well.
I might try fitting in 04 arms in front. If you read back through the previous pages, someone already posted about using all 04 arms on his evo2. You might have to use the entire 04 front suspension components.

can anybody suggest a respectable rollout for this car with a team orion core STOCK ???
wat pinions/ spurs are recommended for me to buy for stock racing???

Try rollout of maybe around 35 to start.
Use 88 tooth Spur. Handy pinions would be from 33 to 37. Thats what I have any way. I use a Trinity Monster Stock Pro with 88T Spur and 36T Pinion. I am very Impressed with my TB EvoII. Much better than given credit for. I actually like it better than my Xray!!

I tried running the red springs on my first run. I liked how tame the car ran. The bumpy track used to make an interesting drive using the silver springs from the TB Evolution 1.
With the red springs, the seems to go straighter without me having to watch closely whether it's still tracking straight. However, the car tended to go wide on corners.
I'm going to try the yellow spring next time, same hole on the shock tower. The red springs at the rear will remain, but I'll try moving them to the outside holes on the tower.
