Evo2 and 2.5 use TGR gearboxes which is what I believe to be one of the main weaknesses of the car. Evo3 will go back to a TB01-style gearbox and get that brutal driveline back. The bulkheads on the Evo2 and 2.5 are overkill and make the car very heavy. If anything the Evo3 shock tower positions will be improved, but probably no different. The camber links will be in similar positions to the 414.

the steering rack is yummy!!
I found my own answer as to where can i find the posts for the steering rack. I'm still waiting to purchase a TB Evo I from someone and he will supply me with two sets of steering racks: the aluminum ones and the plastic ones. Hopefully he supply me with original two posts too so I can use the stock ones with your alu steering rack.If the TB EVo I turned out to be slower than my TB01. I might just buy it and the TB EVO II and just shelved it for collection.

I'm currently running a hybrid setup using HPI RS4 Pro2 arms and they are working pretty well on me especially when I get to use the CVD
The question is, can I use CVD with these arms and which one that fits? Has anyone at least try to sneak those into the setup?
I'm planning to setup this car with a set of new gearboxes, an eagle racing motor mount (OMG it's HELLA LIGHT!!), and the Penguin chassis or replace all those parts on the current car with the arms, c-hubs, and aluminum steering racks

What is a good gearing for TB EVO II??
I need to know the gear ratio for the TB EVO II...
I use a small 76 gear (I killed 2 of my 88 gear so now I have to do the 76) Any how...any one have any idea for this car please let me know...

the internal ratio 2.6
just take the spur gear / the pinion * 2.6
for 100 ft long track
23T stock for 5 mins - final ratio around 5
8T - 9.0
9T - 8.7
10T - 8.5
11T - 8
12T - 7.5
if many small corners add 0.5
if more straight then corners reduce 0.5
