I still reckon an E10. It's got a huge range of gearing options too

tlo1!! oh man , that was my first onroad car. if i could of gotmy hands on of those i would of! again i want to keep it a shaft car.

Whichever car you use, you should install an old mechanical speed controller. I don't know if anyone remembers those, but you would need a second servo to manually engage the "switch."

That would help add insult to injury!

MSC's are fine, you just have to keep the throttle nailed, as anything other than full power will heat up a resistor. My friend's dad's tamiya hornet (original!) melted through the chassis because of this l
