It's a capacitor for esc.

Its the Standard Cap that comes with the Speed Passion Gt2.0 Its powerful and nice easy shape for mounting and i can hide my wires under it :-)

This thread has inspired me to cleanup my install. I used to have my ESC mounted flat (half extended over the chassis' edge), but decided to get it closer to the center on its side. At any rate, I went ahead and made most everything as short as was reasonable. This is MUCH better than it used to look.

Gotta say that is the worst place to put lead, first you don't want it ON your receiver it can possibly cause interference. 2nd, you don't want it hanging off the side, it will get torn off the first time you get hit, take it off, and put it along the edge of the chassis.

@Defcone
No black/white filter or any tricks. Just a lot of effort to get the right lighting in the room and correct camera/lense settings. You can spot color on the receiver, swaybars, outdrives.

There surely are other great cars on this thread, such as Kentech's 417x.
I like the stealth look of the A700. Others like my TCX (check older posts in my blog) more.
Guess it is just subjective, personal preference.
