Default Novak US Indoor Championships @ S&N's Trackside Hobbies

Hi all,

This weekend we are at the Novak US Indoor Championships in Milwaukee, WI. Stay tuned to the R/C Tech main page for updates from the track at the conclusion of each qualifying round as well as pictures and (maybe) commentary.

Today was a practice day, so nothing too interesting happened. I will have a few pictures posted later tonight of the facility and some of the racers. Team Losi, Associated, Yokomo and Tamiya are all in attendance, so it looks to be a great weekend.

acloco: I will try and track him down tomorrow. I arrived a bit late today (it's about a 90 minute drive to Trackside from here) and was rushing to get my hunk o' junk ready for the track.

TRF: I will try and get some close-ups of Jun's 414M tomorrow; his car looks really good.

all: The results after Day 1 are up on the page. Will try and get the pictures up in the next couple of hours.

Ok, from what I have heard is this. Tossolini is TQ in mod followed by Baker, Lemieux and I think Kinwald.

In Pro Stock, Lemieux has TQ with Baker and Tossolini (order could be switched around). Sorry that is all I know.

The new pictures are all (finally!) online. I had taken nearly 70 today that I needed to weed through.

I also added a section with enlarged pictures of some of the factory drivers' cars. I hope I got everybody's cars & names right, if anybody notices any errors let me know.

Check out the milling job that Kinwald did to his XXX-S...

If all goes well, we will have similar coverage of the Snowbirds in a few weeks. Will keep you all posted.

Hey Futureal,

Thanks for the pics!!

but, is there anyway that you can take a close shot of David Jun's car? I saw many things that are totally different from the oringal kit. the blue damper, the white spur gear.... etc.

One more thing, can you ask him where Can I get the stuff the he put on his cars from bumper??? The bumper holder mainly. The original TRF414M doesn't come with the top piece of the bumper holder, but David has it. Would you ask him where can other TRF414M owner get it??? Thanks a lot!!

I know that the blue dampers are from te new Limited Edition Blue 04-Pro Kit. The white spur gear is just an aftermarket spur gear from someone like RRP. This is so that he can run imperial 64p, where as if he were to use the stock spur he's limited to the metric 0.4p gears from Tamiya. Some may say this is the same, but they are slightly different, and will cause some binding, and you know these guys need top performance from every part of there car.
