Default Alex Racing Barracuda R3

Looks like Alex Racing has a new car coming, the R3. You can check out the pictures at Team Orion's news feed, updated today. Its a nice looking car. I don't own a R2, but the new R3 looks similar to it. Does anyone know when it will be coming to the states?

If you look at the chassis, the graphite is the weirdest thing I've ever seen. It looks like they put glitter on it ! The R3 uses the TC3 swing rack steering; I'll post pictures later, I don't have time right now.

Lots of pictures and good gen on the R3 appears on the R2 thread started by speedtech.

Lots of talk about it over the past week since us cuda-ites found out about the new car

release date is looking to be sometime in December and it look like there will be very little change in the price from the R2

Hoping Santa gets the hint

I personally can't wait to see the glitter chassis. I do wish that they would match it with the color of the car though, rather than doing the rainbow look.

There are already 2 barracuda threads, I don't really see a need for a third.

I'm not going to close this, but let's try and use the other two threads for discussion if possible.

Thanks
Josh

As someone, who rarely logs on, it'll be kinda hard scanning thru many different threads, talking about the same thing.

The origional Barracuda thread really doesn't get used that much anymore, this will propably be it's replacement...

I think the one thread started by SpeedYech can serve all our needs. Don't need to have to look all over the place to find Cuda info. The cars are so close anyway most info relates to them all. What next? a Xenon R2 thread, a Speedway PAL thread, etc....

Sorry. I just wanted to start a thread for all the Cuda fans out there because, I assume, they will eventually switch to the R3, and want a place to discuss it rather than the old R2. That way this thread can slowly replace the old one, just as the R2 thread replaced the original Cuda thread. I do see your point though. We don't have a Rayspeed SD thread, for example. Too many threads is confusing.

At most, I think their should only be 2 'Cuda threads. I'll let you guys figure out which one/s you want to use. I can rename the current threads also if needed.

Hmmm

Just re-name the R2 thread to read ALEX Racing R2 & R3 since they are more similar than the R1 to the R2 was.......

I agree 2 threads is enough.... I get tired answering questions

Thanks

and my 2 Yen

Yup, an R2/R3 thread sounds sensible, since the R3 is almost like an R2 with one of the upgrade kits available.
