Default Brushless funny noise...and not ha ha funny

I posted this in the Speed Passion thread as well since the brushless system is SP, but I thought I would post it here as well hoping someone may be familiar with this issue:

Just fired up my new GT LPF and 13.5 for the first time, and under acceleration the motor makes a screeching sound...almost like a stripped gear squealing. Once it is running it is like butta. I checked the length of the motor screws and they are good, gear mesh is good. FDR is 5.78, ESC settings are:

Running Mode: 1
Drag Brake Force: 2
Low Voltage Cut-Off: 1
DRRS: 4
Brake Force: 2
Initial Brake Force: 1
Neutral Range: 1
AMTS: 1
Motor Type: 1
Over-Heat Protection: 1

Any ideas?

My 1/12th will do the when the diff is too loose. You said FDR, so I assume your running TC? Check the diff if your spur/pinion mesh is right. How does the spur itself look?

It was the spur...it actually looks ok but I put on a brand new one and the noise stopped. All is well...

It sounds like the rotor magnet has come loose on the shaft, and is spinning under hard load. It's not a common problem, but certain one that's been seen before. Do you have another rotor you can try? Maybe SP will send you one?

Edit: Nevermind, glad to hear you figured it out.
