Default question for the mini z guys

what is the significance of wider wheels?

and

what is the significance of not using stablizers in the front?

wider wheels would give a better contact patch. this would give the car more traction(for the rear) and more steering power(for the front).

front stabs act like a swaybar.

i always use wide wheels for the rear and medium sized whells for the front.

try running your MZ with out any front stabs. and get a roll shock for the rear to give you car a more planted/ stable feel.

there's one more thing i just thought of.
have you ever heard of a brand named PN racing?
they made a motor that was faster than the xspeed called the Speedy motor. it requires no turbo esc upgrade, but it sometimes burns the board on the MZ. i was wondering if you have ever heard of something like that and if it can be prevented when using the motor.

i personally have witnessed a board fried by that particullar motor. it didnt fry the board at once but after many runs my friends Z just stopped and it had a distinct odor. i really recommend installing a turbo. this will protect your Z board and give your car hella torque!

more torque + more topspeed = moer FUN

all PN motors except the speedy is designed for either turbo or fet, stock pcb can't stand the current draw

alrighty

does square make wide wheels or are they all standard size?
all i can find are standards sizes. do they have a website?

yes square makes both normal and wide rims set
they recently released the utra wide rims set for Enzo
