Default 17.5 compared to Silver can (lap times)

It sounds weird but can some one please post some lap times on their track of 17.5s and silver cans so I can estimate how much faster (% wise) I cant get them from my track as no one has a 17.5 at a club day yet

Thanks in advance

In an M03 with fixed gearing the lap times are almost identical. With adjustable gearing (bigger than the M03) like in a sedan...the 17.5 is probably 1-2 sec faster a lap on an average sized track.

I'd say the silver can and the 21.5 are very close.

Just a quick snap shot of times from our local track between a heat of 540 and a heat of stock racing

I don't have lap times to post but what chrisk posted is about the same difference we saw at our track ( 60' x 60' )

And also found the same results running my 17.5 in my M03 being pretty much the same as a Silver can but we run Black cans and the 17.5 is noticeable slower then the Black can.
