Default dummy cells

Does anyone know where to get dummy cells online? I am talking about the carbon fiber tubes that are the size of a sub-C cell to hold your batteries in place. Instead of the foam block on the TC3 some people use a hollow cell sized object. I believe Barry Baker had one on his car at a race that was covered by rctech.net. You can find a picture of his car in the race coverage to see exactly what I am talking about.

You mean the one shown in this picture?
That looks like a chunk of aluminium wrapped in CF tape to me. Check out the shiny edges.

The one in Barry's car and the Team Hybrid one is the one I am looking for. Anyone know where in the U.S. they are sold?

Just get a wooden dowel, cut it to length and paint it black... Sure that'd be a lot cheaper...

yes the one in barry's car is from dragon i have 2 of them i got it at the roar nationals there in colorado.
if i remeber correctlly i paid $9.00 for each one. i actually peeled the sticker off and drilled holes in them and polished them
they look like swiss cheese now.
they are very light even with out the holes.
they keep the batts from sliding forwared on impact.!

That's what my girlfriend said when I bought a barracuda! The whole purpose of this hobby is to waste money on useless stuff. Isn't it?

Default waste!?!

heck no, JohnA, this hobby may be expensive, but not a waste of money! i quite enjoy rc and it is not a waste . and if you and get a new a-arm when yours craps out on race day for that price, just use the foam thing... not that i don't spend too much on this hobby...
