At the Hobby Show in Chicago a guy from Novak said that there would be some new ESC and stuff out around the first of the year or so....who knows. You can go to Orion's site and there is pictures of Jukka's car and it has the test/prototype ESC in his 4wd.

i hope it's more like the cyclone's, i don't like the gt7. The cyclone is like a rustler, dependable, and goes fast(rustler too, when tuned well).

Thats the standard chassis (not graphite) and the red belt is slighly narrower than the green belt. Its a little more free, but not as strong. Great if you have super fine throttle controll.

The opposite side of the belt tunnel has been milled out to allow the batteries to be closer to the centerline of the car. The piece of plastic you can see that's glued across the batt. slots is the new "outside edge" the cells rest against. The belt tunnel is quite open, but looks like it's sealed by the cells themselves. There are more pics at the Orion site.

That looks identical to a GT7 case with the deal removed and some cuts in the top to help cool the FETs.

And that makes sense. It's a lot cheaper to reuse a case for R&D purposes than to spin a new one every time the design changes. Besides, Novak hasn't been shy about reusing their cases in the past. There are a ton of their speedos that have the same case:

T-1X=610-RV=410-MXc
Duster=Hammer=Racer=RacerEX=Dually
Explorer=Fusion=~Elektra

Yeas that is a prototype speedo, that most of the Novak guys are testing at the worlds. Bob is there on hand also to get opinions from the team.
