I don't know about the other Zippy's.Im just telling that this one performs very good.Much better that other more expensive lipos(ORION,Trakpower,MaxAmps etc) and other cheap chinese lipos i have ran.And as for the price/performance i think it's a very good choise.

Battery arrived today, 12/29! Ordered 12/16, shipped 12/17, lost a day of shipping because of Christmas.... not bad i'd say.

After a quick inspection i can say that the case seems to be more solid than both my Orion cases. I have a 3600 and 2400 Orion and it seems that the cases want to pull apart.... kinda like they aren't glued together properly. The two halves of the Zippy are stuck together nice and tight and the plastic also seems thicker on the Zippy. The only issue i have is that the positive female plug isn't lined up exactly with the hole in the case. Not a problem though, the male plug goes right in. The battery connector seems to be a Dean's. There was a question about the "battery bumps" on the bottom of the case- yes, they are there.

I hope to run all three battery packs today in my HPI Pro 4 in VTA trim today.

Yeah, they are a Deans knockoff. They will fit deans, but you'll notice that the red plastic is a bit darker. I dont know how they compare to Deans in terms of internal resistance, but no problems with the current Zippys that I own.

They are the same as the fake deans connectors that are sold on ebay. I have used them before and they work just as good as authentic deans and are about 1/10 of the price. I looked at the Zippy 4000mah lipo and it appears to be the exact same thing as the EP 4000mah lipo which costs $70.

Here is a link to the EP 4000mah lipo (It's the second one down).

I have used Chinese soft case Chinese Hecell lipos that are rated at 25C that have much more punch than my Orion lipos that are rated at 30C.

If your other packs were 3600 & 2400 Orion you'll love the zippy's.

Define "legit".If you mean GFX numbers etc, sorry but there aren't.Maybe some of the guys who testing the more expensive high C rated lipos could provide them.

no i just wnat to hear about someone's experience. more than just "oh, yeah i ran them. good punch." maybe more to how they compare to other lipos and stuff like that. i could really care less about numbers, if the lipo is good, it's good. i drift, so numbers dont matter that much to me.

Great batteries can't compare to other lipo only my promatch 4600's they have a little less punch but my lap times stay the same for the entire race.

I batteries are out of stock so you can't get them any way.

Well, apparently they're -64 on stock right now.

Luckily I ordered early and mine arrived last week.

It fits the TT01's battery slot, though the original plastic battery holder won't fit well because the hard case is just a tad longer than a tamiya pack.

So I fashioned a temp holder out of velcro straps and 2 paper clips.. it works well lol.

As for the battery itself, it runs pretty damned well, obviously less punchy than my 3S 20C 4500mah but still very respectable speed and runtimes, can charge to 4200mah and reads around 28C on mine. All in all, $30 well spent.

Only one thing bothers me is that the deans clone didn't connect well on first try, had to jiggle it around to get a good connection, have since replaced with real deans and no problems now.

Hope they restock soon, I want to order more
