With the balancing tap and the standard + and - taps it should work just fine. I noticed this first since I have the TC-1030 and haven't used the balancer once yet.

You just have to buy the flightpower style balancing connectors for your balancer. The balancer itself will work fine.

As for the zippy cells, look up plane/heli reviews. I'd say they are better than most 4000mah cells you get from major brands.

I have a few of the smaller Zippy packs and they have performed flawlessly! The only downside to ordering these is that they come from overseas and shipping takes a while (~1wk).

it takes some companys 1

week to process your order so 1 week for delivery is better then 1 week to process then another 4 days to get the stuff

JeremyH 12-21-2008 03:46 AM

Yeah, I know....I wasn't complaining. I actually thought it was fast considering the country of origin. I am just used to the same day shipping, 2 day delivery of some of my regular vendors.

Just got my pack.Look nice and yes it has the bumps on the bottom.I haven't ran it yet so i don't know how it performs but i hope to do it very soon .

Can you post pics of the bumps? Are they goin to keep it from sitting flat? Can they be shaved off? I've got 2 coming to me...

The leads come out of the top, not the side.

Is this you want to see?

JeremyH 12-23-2008 07:02 AM

Ahh....yes, thank you! Hopefully those bumps wont cause the battery to sit up too high in my chassis.

streetracer745 12-23-2008 10:52 AM

Unless they are huge bumps, they shouldnt cause it to sit more than a few mm higher than if the bottom were flat. Hobbyking says it is 25mm thick, meaning from the bottom of the bumps to the top of the batt should be 25mm... Thats how every other company claims their heights I believe. What car are you running this is?

I shaved the bumps off my yeahs so I could run a li-po plate under them with zero issues.
