I have no true justification of this. But I know from every test ive seen of the yeah racing and of other zippy packs that these packs stand up to what they claim. And if they dont then it isnt by much.

I'm pretty sure some of you guys bought one to try out. Keep everybody posted on how they perform. Might be a good pack for practice and bashing.

It took me 9 days to get stuff from Hobby King. It shipped within 24 hours.

It usually takes 4 days to get my things that I buy from them. I always use the EMS which is fast and secure (Somewhat lol).

Hmmm, for 40ish shipped, I dont think you could go too wrong. Even if the ratings are a little bloated, if I get 3500mah and 15c, I will be happy. I think i will order one soon, just out of curiosity.

You mean the yeah 4000 that ultraline sells?? I bet they are the same battery ,just different case.

I bet the reason is closer to pay for pretty full page ad's in big mags and for someone "big" to use their product with lots of cameras and the same mags around then it is to the quality of the cell being that much different.....but I could be wrong.

That's likely part of it, certainly not all of it.

I bet you are right, they also have to pay the CEO,CFO, and the ad men, and don't forget lawyers and insurance. I would bet that any of the "major players" have costs incendental to putting a battery out to the public.

I can guarantee you that the costs are much higher for the "big guys" and they are still going to want to make a profit....nothing wrong with that, but I don't think on a product like this that they are as bad as we are being told.

It is much better then just a few years ago when we where taking apart cell phone batteries and scanners to run our planes on.

Yes I was referring to the Yeah Racing 4000's... i just ordered four of the zippys.. using the faster freight delivery (only five more dollars).. the packs come to 34.00 each from Hong kong.. They shipped yesterday, the same day i ordered them. So Im guessing in about 9-10 days they will be at my door...Will keep everyone posted on performance.

I am def. thinking of a few of these for some spec packs at my buddies new track he's building for the slash. These would be perfect for a day of racing.
