do the bottom arms on the t1m fit on the evo2 (like team drivers have been using with hinge pin outside bulkheads) and still get standard width (189mm i think it is)?

Looking forward to playing with this little beast
Hi John

Don't get the swaybars, they are designed for the Evo2. However, the blade front swaybars are adjustable and should fit on the front arms of the T1M.

Are you thinking about putting six cells on the car? And yes it is possible!

Yes they do fit, but track width may be different. I haven't seen the production arms, but the prototype arms were used on the Evo2 just for small tracks.

I just talked with my LHS and he's going to order me one. Is there any way I can ensure that I get in on the first shipment?

There is no way to assure getting a car from the first shipment. Keep in mind, orders have been placed by LHS's long ago, those with early orders will most likely get theirs orders first.

Has anyone seen the 1/12 touring car bodies that Speedtech RC has?

Just on their site. I picked up my Tamiya BMW Mini body yesterday. Want to have it painted and ready to go for when it gets here.

Anyone know if the T1M will have a body and if so, what it will be?

Hey Neil, when do you expect to see your Mini? I think I'm gonna have to pick one up as well, seems like it would be a really fun class. How about 4 cell mod, 8 minute heats

Not sure yet on mine. I would suspect soon. Don't know where to run/race it yet.

We could get a class goin at SoCal... I'd really like to try the 4 cell mod with 8 minute heats though. Not only do you have to worry about winning, but you gotta worry about runtime as well

Four cells? I was thinking of six in mine. There's room for it!

There's room for it, but the car was made for 4. It'll handle much better than with 6 because of the reduced weight and low CG. It should still be faster than a 6 cell with a stock motor, I just think it would be fun to have a really quick handling car.

the fast cars at most tracks that I see are:

Belt
xray
xxx-s

Shaft
barracuda
tc3

xray is one of the nicest cars I've ever worked on. Very tough, easy to adjust and well balanced. Not to mention very fast. Setup changes are predictable and consistent as well.

Don't know much about the xxx-s, except that 2 of the fastest guys at my track run them. They can also go a whole race without hitting anything.

I used to run a tc3; fast but broke easy

I just got a used Cuda, build quality isn't where the xray is, but it felt very fast in the 2 minutes I ran it the other day.

Shaft cars will torque steer a bit, belt cars won't, but some complain that they are soft out of corners. I've never had a problem though.
