Hey guys, been awhile since I last posted on this thread, so I thought I should put one up of mine, also has the Motek chassis(but we just run stock 180 size motors right now, thinking about more though)....

The GPM shocks work great if you replace the spings with the Atomic colored springs.

Any help would be greatly apprciated
Rhys
Seems the only unis that are designed right are the Integy's since they use a grub screw to retain the pin
Quick fix for your GPM's is to get some heat shrink wide enough to fit over the joint where the pin is and shrink it down around that area- about 4mm of shrink, just enough to hold your pins in. Probably a good all around safety tip for any cvd.

Or you can switch to a set of AVM driveshafts and wheels Like me

Why? Are the GPM springs inconsistant as far as rates, poor quality, too stiff or something else? Thanks for the input by the way!

The coil GPM used is too thin so the suspension was sloppy. I found the Atomic ones better working.

Anyone have a killer setup for the M18 on asphalt? I'm running a 2 cell 1320 LiPo and Mamba 6800 with a custom chassis. I'm just curious as to what setup would be good for Asphalt? I'm currently running:

+gaz 960RR LiPo Chassis (150mm)
+gaz Super Stiff upper deck
+gaz Heatsink Motor Mount
Team Orion Foams - F = Hard, R = Medium
Wheels are in wide position on hub (F & R)
Mazda 6 Body w/ Wing in middle position & no air dams
6 degree front caster
Atomic lowering springs - F = Light Orange, R = Blue
2.5 Degree Rear Toe
Novak XXL
Thunder Power 1320 mAh LiPo
Hitec HS-81 w/ HPI servo-saver
Mamba 6800kv Brushless
Mamba 25 ESC
Droop screws are the composite inserts in rear, about .5mm in front

The car is great, just curious as to if anyone had a better setup? Thanks!
