Default mamba break in

If there is a thread for these questions reguarding 1/18 brushless, please let me know.

I just ordered a 2080 mamba for my xray. What is required for break in and has any one done any testing between lipoly and nimh batteries?

I purchased my 2080 from starluck rc. they had a few instock.

Thanks

I just got my M18 a day ago and finished building it.
The diff doesn't feel smooth, I have the stock ones. Can you guys help me to figure out whtat could be wronh...

And, can the alloy motor mount be used with the stock chassis or have to cahnge to the CF chassis?

Hey,
The front diff is usually a little bit less free than the rear. Also, use diff lube.. the Tamiya ones work well. the Aluminum motor plate should fit the stock chassis. But if your running a 300 motor, on teh stock chassis, you have to cut a rectangle hole under the chassis, so the motor doesnt hit the chassis... G luck

There is no breakin. The reason you normally break-in is because of brushes.

Thanks for the info..

BTW, what's the different between the 180 & 300 size motor??

Is their mounting screw holes are different?? I am thinking to make my own motor plate...

Can I use my GT7 in my M18??

a 180 size motor is smaller than a 300 size. 300 size motors are bigger, more speed, more power. More than twice the RPM. [30-35ks] Mounting holes are differnt..

A GT7 would be perfect for micro ! I run a VFS on mine.. and love it ,soo much power..
