Roy, no it will not. You will need to use the new carbon chassis to use the motor mount.

I hated my spy...NO braking response and instant reverse...

The reverse can be locked out, but the car still suffered from horrible braking...some tried to explain it as being due to the weak magnets on the micro stock motors we were running...but that doesn't explain why my LRP Quantum micro works soooooo well??

A lot of people are also giving the IPD ESC's a good look too, considering that they're just a bit more than 1/2 the price of the other 2!

I'm running an IPD R40 and I love it. I also have a Team Orion Flash and have played with other peoples cars with Spys and I like the R40 way better than both. Far stronger brakes than either of the other two and a smoother throttle response as well. Plus its TINY, way smaller than the TO or Novak. Only thing is it doesn't have reverse, but I only race my M18 so thats not a big loss for me.

Hmmmm, looks like a mixed bag of stuff. What it looks like is any decent servo or esc will work on this car.

I run the LRP Quantum speed control and so far it's one of the best I have run. I had the Spy but like other's I had horrible brakes with the big block motors. I have also run Futaba esc's but the Quantum seems to work better. I also run the Hitec HS-85mg servo with no servo saver and it takes a ton of abuse but has yet to fail.

Sorry not yet. We are hoping to have it ready pretty soon though. The prototypes worked out very nice, I am actually running one right now. The fit and finish is flawless and the motor mount really helps cool the motor down. My motor went from an average of 160 degrees to 124 degrees. I am real happy with the setup and my car handles like it is on rails.

As soon as it is ready to ship be sure to look for a post here and on the other RC boards. The chassis is going to be made by Team Hammer Racing. I will have more pics of mine up soon.
