Default charging through cig lighter while drving ok?

Would you recommend charging up battery packs having the charger plugged into the cigarette lighter during driving? Sometimes I just dont have time to charge it up at home or at the track.

I have a box I made w/ a cig. lighter end and a multi-plug (Banana type) box, so I can run 2 chargers at once. So I can charge my packs while on the road.

Since we switched to LIPOS, I don't charge while driving as much, I just charge before I leave the house. They hold their voltage well enough to use for practice when you first get to the track, and gets me so much more track time vs. not charging until I get to a track.

Just make sure you get a couple spare fuses for your CIG Lighter, incase you over load it (Most are only 15 amp fused) and that fuse usually powers other features in your car too.

2001-2012 - South-West Tour R/C Oval Series...will the SWT be revived?
Things are headed towards a return of the SWT Series, but for
2017 the focus will be on the Encino Velodrome (and dirt oval racing)
