ever marked the posts out and then later found out that the markings rubbed of? or marked it....and found out they don't join!? hehe

sounds like a good idea.

What I do is take a body that's been run to death, but was properly mounted, then trim away all the excess around the body post holes, leaving essentially the cockpit hood and rear deck intact, that way I have a nice little template to drop on top of new bodies. Works WAY FASTER than any other method.
