Depending on the track size, we have run as low as 3.8 with 17.5 and this sc so 4.1 is a possibility.

When you load it you should get 5 profiles the one your after is on profile 5, to make the sc run that profile hit the "write" button, that will ensure your on profile 5, you can go back after and double check which profile your on with the led flash indicator on the on/off switch.

Default Ko BMC + Novak Booster

Hi can anyone answer this question.I am running a 1/12th 1 lipo pack, with the Ko BMC speed controller, with this speedy you use the switch to do setups, but with the Novak smart Boost it states that you leave the speedy switched off and only use the Novak Boost switch to turn the car on.What I want to know would turning this on to program the speedy blow anything up as you are using the Booster to power the radio, speedy.

I also run the Novak Booster with my Ko BMC Speedo, however if I understand you correctly it appears you would like to program your speedo with the BMC Manager Application.

If so I would recommend to use only the USB adapter to provide power to your ESC and insure that the battery is not pluged in upon this step, or else you risk damaging either your ESC or USB port on your computer.

Although if you plan to change your profile on the ESC, you should not have any issues by leaving the ESC Switch on during this process.

For example I currently change my profiles by selecting the PB located on the ESC switch and turning the booster on during the selection process of the profiles loaded on the ESC.

Hopefully the above mentioned steps help, if you have any other questions or if there is any need for further clarification.......... please feel free to respond back!!!

Best Regards!!!

Alex

Hi Alex thanks for the heads up,also was able to get in contact with the novak people, and he also suggested to take out the red plug wire to the speedy,so no voltage is going to the reciever from the speed controller therefore only leaving the voltage from the novak boost, thanks and will try what you have stated.

Thumbs up

Hi Alex C got a update ,just got it working ok here is my steps.
1-Removed the +(Red) from the Speedy and leave out ,cut off
2-Plug the USB and lead (White,Black) into the Speedy reciever lead,so nows it is Black,White to Black,White
3-Plug the mains battery power in this case 1C pack
4-Switch the Speedy switch on,p.s no need to switch the Novak Boost on,this now powers the USB as the USB has no power coming from it to the Speedy
5-Now start up the program, select what com post the USB drivers are using,in my case it was COM port 3.
Now I can have fun.

Skinny,

I'm currently testing with a 13.5 / 10.5 Duo2 Trinity, and had a chance to test a 10.5 LRP X12.

For the most part testing has been very fruitful, although nothing to divulge as of yet!!!

I'll keep you posted as to any new developments..................Best Regards!!!

Thanks Alex,

I am going to test melvin's profile this evening with a novak 17.5 and maybe a SP v2 17.5. My track is 75x40 medium grip carpet.
