I have a speed passion right now.
I had a MMP but i hated it, it had power but Mid end was wierd it had this muffled feeling to it, once you passed that spot it was pure power.
So i stuck with SP.

But i am in for another ESC for another car, orignally i am looking at Tekin but i see alot of these BMC on sale with a great deal. So i dunno.

I run a BMC in mod and it handles that easily no issues so far, I sent it in to for the 1.5 upgrade and to get the ROAR zero timing profile added and in non turbo/super charger conditions it is as quick as anything else out there and possibly smoother than everything else.

mine is scheduled to be delivered today! i'll be hopefully running it at the Ko Propo Grand Prix in the 17.5 non timing class

Anyone going to be at the indoor champs in Cleavland to do the upgrade to this ESC? I got 2 that need the 1.5 Roar spec flashing light.

Although I couldn't run this speed control in our big series spec class due to some sponsorship commitments, I borrowed this speed control to another racer, no need to worry, it is very capable to compete in the spec class. Still a very smooth speed control.

I used a BMC1 to win Mod 2wd Short Course this weekend at the Turkey Cup.

Pres Ilog used a BMC1 to podium the 17.5 no boost class at TQ for the first round of the winter series.


It's still a very capable ESC and smooth like melted butter!

i am having major motor temp issues in my scx-60 with an lrp 17.5 motor....
anybody have any idea what the actual timing profiles are? i have the stock motor manager and i really need a fresh start on setup at this point.

wouldn't mind knowing about this as well, i loved the KO when it came out but the electronics wars are too much for me to have kept up with during the nitro season so I don't even know if this speedo is competitive anymore.

sounds like the update is pretty much required or am i good with the timing that can be programmed via usb? i don't need the roar light.

It is great in the mod class or in stock zero timing. Trying to make it work vs say a Tekin or Mamba can't really keep up on the straight. If the straight isn't too long then you can make it work.

In discussions with Robert (KoPropo USA) this past week, he mentioned a few new Products being introduced in this years upcoming Japan Hobby Show.

I'm not able to provide any details of the products, although I'm sure it will be Innovative and of the Highest Quality as we have seen in the past and in the future to come.
