sick of pulling the plug from the receiver?

I trimmed an old servo/esc lead, soldered the ends, and eased them into the esc plug. Since taking the picture I've heat shrunk them together.

no more unplugging for me

should also work for other esc's that use a PC for set up.

Have you tried it? I think there may be a problem with the rec plugged in supplying power and a signal. I know this will not work with the Tekin. I use a 3 inch extension works great.

Yes and it was fine.

Receiver was not powered up when tested so no issue with signal. ESC is normally unplugged when hooked up to pc so has no power to it, so I didn't even think to try with power to receiver.

I'm away to test it on my Tekin's now with Hotwire

I am thinking of picking up an orion model of the BMC with the 1.5 update. I am wondering what kind of gearing is needed to keep up with the newer speedo's. I am currently running a SP GT 2.0 and I have to gear at a under 4.0 to even compete with the others, especially with the newer software that is out. Does this ESC have similar things like boost and timing advance as the others and if so could someone let me the scoop. I would appreciate it.

Thanks alot

I have one for sale if you are interested, as well as the USB setting adapter.

Anyone have a suggested setting for a BMC-1.5 in 1s 1/12th scale 17.5

Got smoked this past weekend...as if I as running a single speed on the straight versus the tekins with latest software.

When using a rx pack... do you leave the speedo switch in the off position?

Hey Goop,

I don't know you, and you don't know me, but its nice to see a clear simple honest answer from a team member about their product. Sometimes I get so sick of all the ego's replacing useful information in these product threads. I can almost smell the testosterone/BS when I mouse-over some of those threads. Thanks for keeping it real!

I agree, thanks for the input. What would be the suggested gearing and base set up for me. I run on a 75x45 carpet track with a 415 mre 2.25. With a 17.5 just to know what the gearing is compared to the others.

Default Safe Assumption

when timing was only at 2..and the SPX came out.. Ko did an update that bumped up the timing to "6".

its a safe assumption i would think that they're working on an update to keep up or go faster than the Tekin/BD.
