i'm using the v1.5, it can brake my car very very well... it can even lock up all 4 wheels... all in default setting as i haven't got my programmer yet...

i usually only use less than 70% in my TH Brake (ex-10 helios), rack is medium traction... on high bite track i tried max 85%... the wheels lock up most of the time n create push under...

The motor rotor is weak.

timing advanced is not a boost. think of it this way. there is a limit of power in every motor. so what happens is with timing advance, you change where the power band is. higher timing is higher RPM and lower torque. lower time is higher torque and lower rpm

Default 5.0T

Does anyone know how to get the best out of the brake frequency?
If I run a 4.5T then a 5.0 T or a 13.5T on my esc how should I choose the brake frequency?
Any profile for a 5.0T 12th scale?
Cheers

I try timing 4 on my BMC. the motor is SP 11.5R v3.0. motor timing 0.
when I free rev the motor, at full throttle it sounds strange, the rpm is high, but not really stable. the rpm is higher at timing 5 & 6, but the sound is worse. is it normal? or is the timing too high?

I dont think you are supposed to free rev a brushless motor, which may explain why its making strange noises. I dont know the ins and outs of why, I was just told that you shouldnt free rev a brushless motor for a sustained period of time
Anyone feel free to jump in with an explanation anytime here
