not necessary if your running mod. the cogging only happens with 13.5 and higher turn motors. although i did see one instance with 4 cell mod where it did have an issue and the update fixed it. me personally i would do the update just to make sure that i wouldnt have any issues at a big event.

Yeah, its just i would be without the speedo for a while, and would have to ship it half way across the globe. Is one able to use the v1.5 profiles that is listed on the ko propo america site? on a v1 speedo, i am looking for a profile that is like profiles 3 and 4 on a lrp tc spec.

Thanks Ya`All

No you can not use the new software without the update...If you like the profiles just copy them and then load it into your speedo..

Guys,

If I'm running v1.0, what profile should I be using? The old or new (if there's a new one).

Thanks

just to be clear, I believe that you can use any of the profiles in any of the versions of the bmc. I beleive the difference is that the stock motor manager has extended setting for the timing that only takes effect on the ver 1.5.

the only thing I have not played with is what would happen if you ran the stock motor manager on a v1.0 of the speedo.

my suggestion is to run the motor manager for the version of speedo you have.
