I know you're playing with me. I was laying the foundation for my KO sponsorship with that response That would help out a bunch of people though. I'm all about the club racer now-a-days

I really don't want to run single cell LiPO with a 4 cell cutoff active. It MAY work with a stock motor but we don't run stock motors here. 13.5's are what we run for "stock" with the single cell, and I'd like to be able to go lower as well.
The ESC has to be turned on in order to be functional. If you want to use a receiver pack, you will have remove the positive wire from the lead going from the ESC to the Rx. Also, you will have to turn on the Rx pack and then the ESC.

I understand your concerns about the single cell LiPO. We have been trying to get one to do testing but no luck. We have talked about several setting options, but will have to test them before I can say anything. If you are using a KO Rx KR-302F you can use this down to 2.3V and the KR-408S can be used to 2.5V if voltage is a concern.

Robert,

Did you get my e-mail? My net was acting up, so I was trying to figure out what went through and what didn't.

Thanks!

I'm not concerned about the receiver, I'm concerned about the ESC voltage cutoff. If there's no way to disable the cutoff I don't see how I can use the BMC in single cell racing. There needs to be either a single cell cutoff option, or the option to disable the cutoff.

Thanks for the info.

ok, so my question. is if we need the stock motor manager to enable extra timing etc. where do i get it? I should have my 1.5 here today and was hoping to go race with the 5-6 timing profiles.. is there somewhere I can download it?

BMC Stock Motor Manager, v1.5 factory default settings and v1.5 Supplemental instructions are now posted on our site. Sorry for the delay, but wanted to get it right the first time.

well i got my first 1.5 bmc. Played with the stock manager software and I have what I think should be a good profile thanks to Robert. Can't wait to test it

one thing that would be cool, would be alternate lipo cut voltage. like 1s 1/12th

thanks!

Until IFMAR allows it's use, it's a hard sell on KO Japan. We'll see what I do.
